The great Robert Williams will be showing at Tony Shafrazi Gallery on October 31st, Halloween night. Robert Williams is highly respected and looked up at as one of the founders for creating the new contemporary art movement commonly referred to as Juxtapoz, pop culture, lowbrow and others.

Tim Okamura & The Kid Belo
Wish I was closer to Canada so I could check out this show, Love, Strength & Soul at the Show and Tell Gallery on October 9th. I like the way Tim Okamura mixes graffiti art with figurative art, the composition works well on these pieces. If anybody is interested in purchasing follow the link.
Green Day Art project at StolenSpace Gallery
In November 2008 the seed for the Green Day Art Project was planted. The concept was to choose eighteen international artists to informally collaborate with GreenDay. Each artist would receive lyrics to one of the songs from the soon to be released 21st Century Breakdown.Then they would produce a piece of art that was influenced, or inspired by the lyrics of the song. Although the artists had the lyrics, they did not have the music that accompanied the words.The results from that collaboration are presented in this show. Ron English is among the artists involved in this project, interested to see what is produced by him and the other talented artists.
