Clifford Ross “Hurricanes”

New York City photographer Clifford Ross captures hurricanes at the heart of the natural disaster: the ocean. His black and white images of crashing waves and tumultuous waters are a fearsome display of the intense ferocity of hurricanes. Ross’ work causes us to question man’s contribution to the increasing number and intensity of natural disasters in the wake of climate change. His series “Hurricanes” will be apart of the “Coal and Ice” exhibit at the Three Shadows Photography Center in Beijing from September 24 to November 28, 2011.
