Korean-born/LA-based illustrator Steve Kim deconstructs people and things in his artwork, using different perspectives to transform the familiar into the strange. Using negative space, his brilliant pencil sketches appear in various states of metamorphosis, adding to the sense of malleability of his subjects and forcing the viewer to see the mundane in a fresh new way.
