Yoskay Yamamoto “Picking Up Where We Left Off”
Japanese artist Yoskay Yamamoto’s dynamic new works are at the LeBasse Projects in Culver City, California. His alluring paintings often feature young sprite-like girls enveloped and fusing with their natural surroundings. Raised in Japan but emigrated to the U.S.A. when he was fifteen, Yamamoto’s dual cultural identity can be seen in the form of the Asian and urban pop art influences in his artwork.
